As shown in the above illustration, a new car purchase can be a lengthy process, but there are ways we can help shorten the process and get your vehicles on the road quicker. We work regularly with many of the new car dealers around Ohio, if we can work with you at the start of your purchasing cycle, we can often help facilitate dealer quotes at state contract pricing and begin the equipment procurement process to have the equipment arrive when the vehicles arrive. Another important step this will help with is getting your vehicles on our build schedule, as soon as the manufacturers start delivering new vehicles and they arrive at your department, everybody from the Chief to purchasing want to know when the car will be put into service. With your help we would like to end this guessing game and provide a better-informed solution and new vehicle turn-around for everyone.
